Version 5 is here! 🎉
Today, I’m excited to announce the release of Designer Tools version 5! This update brings a completely redesigned interface, new features, and significant improvements that I’ve been working on for a long time. It’s built using React, which makes the extension much more responsive and sets the stage for future updates. The new design feels cleaner and more modern while being easier to navigate. I’ve focused on making it intuitive so it fits naturally into your workflow.
Version 5 also introduces some new features that I’m really proud of. These were inspired by feedback from users and are aimed at making tasks like aligning, measuring, and checking designs faster and more intuitive. To make it easy to explore what’s new, the update is free to try for up to 10 uses before requiring a subscription.
For those of you who have been using Designer Tools for a while, there’s an important change to note. Existing subscribers will need to log in using the same email address they used to purchase their subscription. This helps keep your account linked as the extension grows, but don’t worry—you won’t lose access to any of the features you’ve already been using. Everything will work just like before once you log in.
I’m also excited to share that Designer Tools is now available on more browsers. This means you’ll be able to use the extension no matter which browser you prefer, making it more accessible than ever before.
This update has been a long time in the making, and I’m so happy to finally share it with you. It’s been a challenging but rewarding process, and knowing that Designer Tools helps so many of you keeps me going. Thank you for your continued support and feedback—it truly means the world to me. I hope you enjoy version 5 as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. Let me know what you think!
