Your information will be safely kept with Stripe, our payment provider. We can only view the last four digits of your credit card number and will not access any unnecessary data. Our sole purpose in collecting your information is to enhance your experience, and we do not share or sell it to any third party. The user can use the extension to measure, compare and align elements, inspect distances between two elements, and add guidelines on top of a page to make it easier to see misalignments.

When you register or sign in, we store your email address securely in Stripe, our payment provider. When logged in, you can do everything the logged-out tier can but will be able to store the guidelines and sync them between different browsers where the user is logged in. Also, settings are available now, which can switch between color schemes, change measure units, and customize the ruler thickness and the number of pixels between each line on the ruler. A setting also toggles the selection of inline elements on or off.

For the paid versions (PLUS, PRO, and TEAMS), we collect additional information, such as your name, address, and credit card information. This information is necessary to process your payment and provide you with access to the paid features.
